Welcome to
Local Markets East AngliaEvent Management for over 25 years
We have 25 years experience in establishing, maintaining and overseeing markets and events. Our work started with the re-emergence and popularity of the 'modern' farmers markets in the late 1990s across the UK.
In late 1999 we initiated Ely Farmers Market and maintained this market for its first 15 years. We still 'co-ordinate' St Ives (Cambridgeshire) Farmers and Specialist Food Traders Market which we established in 2003, this won 'Farmers Market of the Year' in 2015.
We have assisted on all areas of market operations for markets across West Suffolk and are in our fifth year of running a themed / zoned market within the hugely popular town wide two day events in the centre of Bury St Edmunds; The 'Flower, Food and Craft Market' within the 'Spring Fayre' (held by BID) and the 'Farmers Market' within the 'Food and Drink Festival' (held by BID) on Angel Hill.
We are passionate about the benefits of markets to our communities.
We run a combination of produce and craft markets hosting 25 to 35 high quality traders.
Our markets aim to appeal to families and individuals and can be a stand alone market or form part of a bigger event. We have worked with many of our traders over several years but also bring on new traders to maintain a show of moving variety alongside established favourites.

Creative CandlesI just want to pass on my thanks for a great event yesterday. It was a very successful event and R. was a credit to the team. She was very organised and informative which made the event so easy for the traders to set up and take down. Thank you again

Coopers Croft VineyardI participate in several markets, by far the best support and most enjoyable market experiences are the ones that R. and her team organise. Prior to the event R. always makes certain that the instructions are clear. Everything is professionally run from start to finish. She is always very supportive and creates a positive environment for all the market stall holders. If I had to choose an event it would always be the one run by Local Markets East Anglia.
